An Encounter With Evil

I have been working with dangerous people for a long time. In that time period I have worked with hundreds of murderers, gang members, sex offenders and the mentally ill. I have seen terrible things from people getting their heads stomped in until their faces looked like mashed up hamburger, to people getting burning sugar water thrown on them, to overdoses. I have seen death. I have been told lies that have been sworn to me on the graves of dead family members. The things people will do for a fix, or revenge, or out of a desire to see the world burn... The excuses come thick as molasses, and the turns to goodness are few. Throughout all of it, I always put it down to the evils of humanity, a human cause, and I still believe that almost all of it is human behavior. 

Religious people will tell you that if you encounter a demon, it will leave a mark on you. There is something so outrageously off about the situation, that the experience will embed itself into your brain. While I may have vivid and horrible scenes that remain forever burnt into the recesses of my psyche, there was an encounter that I had that is burnt into the furthest reaches of my soul. This is not a case of post-traumatic stress disorder, it’s a situation that extends beyond that. 

The details will remain somewhat anonymous. We had an individual shipped to us for sexually assaulting a female religious figure from another place. This individual had a long history of sexually inappropriate behaviors with women. Young, old, disabled...it didn’t matter. He was once seemingly normal in his younger years and then it appeared that one day out of the blue, they began to have an impossible urge to sexually assault women. This urge held no real pattern, no discernment. All women are at risk. This landed them to become involved in the justice system. They effectively cannot be left alone with women regardless of what position they hold. Working with women they would consistently pleasure themselves, make the most outlandish threats to sexually assault them in horrible ways, expose themselves, throw their personal liquids on females and attempt to manipulate females. Why do I not refer to a sex in this? “they” is a term used to refer to the demonic as the Bible reads. 

However, it was not just the above, they would constantly urinate and defecate in their living area as well as consistently spread their personal liquid everywhere and I mean everywhere. They rarely slept on their bed instead opting to sleep next to their filth. They would spread garbage everywhere. They would have to be removed from their sleeping area and a privately hired cleaner would have to clean their living area which would frustrate them. Papers handed in by them would need to be handled with gloves as they were often soaked in personal liquids. They hated hygiene and wouldn’t shower. There was a stench that I struggle to describe that emanated off of them. They were constantly trying to find ways to manipulate the phones to attempt to be connected to woman and there were situations where complaints would be filed, and investigations would reveal that women that they talked with on the phone had to go on leave and access mental health services from just speaking with them. 

You might think that they were mentally compromised. No, they knew what they were doing, and they didn’t care. They got joy out of it. They thought it was funny. Speaking to the demon they would consistently ask if I was their friend. They would ask me to do drugs with them or help them escape. They would ask me constantly if I accepted Satan as my lord and savior and laughed at my response or lack of. They would write cryptic messages that seemed jumbled but often revealed odd patterns of lettering and typology. They would write about being trapped and wanting to be released. “You have to get me out of here” was a common phrase written. They would write hundreds of pages they wanted to be mailed out to celebrities and woman in political positions. They had extensive psychological examinations done on them by multiple different experts and none of the experts could come up with a definitive conclusion and recommendations were often that they should be held until the sex drive naturally reduced. All medication regimes had failed to reduce the behavior at all. However, they are well past the age where those behaviors in men reduce naturally. Of all accounts this person grew up in a regular home, there was no abnormal behavior in early age. 

Yet in all of my encounters there was cunning and guile. Speaking with the demon it was clear that they possessed at least average intelligence, they could carry a conversation, abet interrupted often by wildly inappropriate accusations regarding women, sex, satan, drugs and nonsense. They understood everything and when directly called out either denied it happened at all, even when I had observed the behavior myself or would become angry and began thrashing around yelling incoherently. They would call us liars and hypocrites but when their own lies were exposed would stare at you and smile. Often, they just appeared bored with us. 

After they left, I spent a long time trying to understand what I had encountered. I had encountered nothing like that before in my life. I figured it couldn’t have been a demon because I had a Hollywood idea of what a demon was. I had seen evil, but this wasn’t just evil this was something beyond a human concept of evil, it was primal, all of our worst traits exposed. I hadn’t really put things together until I watched Nefarious, which led to me to researching more into the topic. I began to have a more clear understanding of what I encountered, something that wore the skin of a man. You don’t have to believe me; you can attempt to rationalize in whatever manner makes you feel better about your belief structure. This was far beyond anything I had ever seen before in any other situation in my life. The scales have fallen from my eyes. God bless you and keep you safe.
