I’ll be going to see Predator Badlands this evening. I really didn’t want to, which is weird for me because I used to love sci-fi and horror movies; so I wanted to explore why. I need to add some context first, however. I’ll be going with some friends that I am rebuilding a relationship with. After going through the Gnostic rabbit hole and being chewed up and spit back out, I lost my mind a little. Well, more than a little. I blew things up with my friend group, people I had known for 15-20 years. It wasn’t entirely from my trip down the rabbit hole, but that absolutely played a big part in it. In the aftermath, there are only 3 people out of the 10 or so that still talk to me. It hurts, but it is the consequences of my actions.

In my ultimate pursuit of Truth, however, I still cannot keep myself from researching and digging. But what I’ve learned is, is that what you focus on is what you will become. All the hours I spent researching the occult, the demonic, the evil in this world were turning me into a demon along with them. I suspect that’s one of the purposes of the rabbit holes, and the ‘truther’ movement in general. So lately, I’ve really just been trying to focus on the good, the Holy. Really guarding my mind, thoughts and lips; which is much, much harder than one would think. ‘If men used as much care in uprooting vices and implanting virtues as they do in discussing problems, there would not be so much evil and scandal in the world’ Enter Predator Badlands.

I am firmly of the mindset now that media and entertainment are programming tools designed to reshape the soul/spirit of humanity. TV shows are literally called programs. Media and entertainment program humanity to act a certain way the same way a programmer programs a computer to operate a certain way. Viewing images filled with violence, gore, and depravity rewires your brain and opens the door to negative influences. The occult calls them egregores; non-physical entities that are formed from the collective unconscious of humanity. The more people talk about the ideas, the more they spread. Patrick Boivin from Castle Superbeast calls them his mind goblins. Religious tradition would just call them demons. I had an alarming realization recently that I don’t have natural reactions to things anymore; when I come across some news that disheartens me, the first ‘thought’ in my head is the meme from Futurama ‘I don’t want to live on this planet anymore’. Sure, if I sit down I can come up with the reasons why a story disheartened me, but I found it very concerning that my first reaction is an over-simplified meme. After that realization, I started to notice threads of thought in myself and others that weren’t my own, were never my own; they exist in my mind but I don’t know where they originate from. My theory is it is all the media we consume now.

This is the information age. We are in the middle of the fourth industrial revolution, which is seeking to reshape the face of humanity. We are inundated with so much information throughout the day; through our phones, through work, through social media. Doomscrolling has to be one of the most damaging activities to the human psyche in all of history. Materialism dominates our age; society tells you to consume, consume, consume. You’d think it would be a good thing to consume information, but as with most things, too much of anything is not good for the soul. To be everywhere is to be nowhere; to know everything is to know nothing.

If you study the history of the internet, you learn that it started as a DARPA project. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is one of the US military’s most nefarious arms. It is my belief they are responsible for much of the ills that ail society today. Yasha Levine is a Russian-American investigative journalist who grew up under the tyranny of the Soviet Union and this is what he had to say about the Internet:

“The Internet came out of this effort: an attempt to build computer systems that could collect and share intelligence, watch the world in real time, and study and analyze people and political movements with the ultimate goal of predicting and preventing social upheaval... In other words, the Internet was hardwired to be a surveillance tool from the start. No matter what we use the network for today – dating, directions, encrypted chat, email, or just reading the news – it always had a dual-use nature rooted in intelligence gathering and war.”

It is my belief that we are in a state of 5th generation war with our governments. 5th generation war is conducted primarily in the mind; it is fought predominantly through non-kinetic means such as social engineering, propagation of misinformation and memes. Michael Aquino was an officer in the US military who specialized in psychological operations, and wrote the textbook (MindWar) on how to effectively carry out PsyOps (Psychological Operations). He was also a Satanist who helped found the Temple of Set, and had a close relationship with Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satanism.

Knowing all this, how could we view social media and entertainment as anything other than a battlefield for our minds and souls? One would be wise to limit their exposure to it. The Satanic and occult history behind Hollywood is well-documented and I won’t be exploring that here, but in essence, this is why I didn’t want to go see the movie with my friends.

But I will be going. Why? Because I care deeply for them, and I know they don’t think this way. They probably think I’m batshit insane. And with all the damage I did, and hurt I caused them, it is more important than my concerns over being influenced in a way contrary to the direction I am trying to orient my life in. I have learned some CogSec techniques (Cognitive Security) that I will be employing. It will mostly be prayer. And ultimately, no weapon formed against me shall prosper; if I serve the Creator of all, whom or what do I have to fear? Fear not that which destroys the body, but which can destroy the soul. Consuming violent media destroys my soul, but the time spent with my friends will save it.
